2015 Craythorne Parade Home Master Bedroom and Bath

The feel of the Master Bedroom needed to reflect a calm and relaxing space. To accomplish this, I brought in this beautiful bedroom set from Ashley Furniture. (Using my furniture Rep, I was able to get this set for a great deal. He can usually get most Ashley Furniture at a substantial discount. Contact me if you have any questions or are interested in purchasing anything from Ashley.) This King size bed features a tufted head board and a whitewash wood finish. The nightstands feature a slide out tray and a smart drawer with usb ports and plugs for your electronics. To frame the headboard, I used 2 tall gray distressed mirrors behind the night stands. The lamps were a fun find at Home Goods and bring a little bit of metallic finish into the space. The flowers are from Home Goods as well. I love the little touches of yellow that brighten the room. The duvet and shams are from Pottery Barn, the Ralph Lauren comforter and quilt are from Home Goods, and the accent pillows are from Smith's Market Place.

My favorite addition to the Master Bedroom is the Barn Door that leads into the Master Bath. I love both the character and function of this door. Inside the Master Bath, I stayed with the same color palette using Blue, Gray and White in the towels and accessories, all from Home Goods.

The lighting for the Master Bath is Capital Lighting from Lighting Design. I love the simple sophisticated look, especially the darling light fixture over the Master Bathtub. For the cabinetry, we went with a gray wash stain and a dark gray granite for the counter tops. Chrome fixtures finish the look. I'm missing a few pictures of the awesome tile work in the shower, and will add those later. I love the calm oasis feel of the Master Bed and Bath.

Tomorrows highlights will include the two additional bedrooms connected with a darling Jack & Jill Bath.
